Honoring Mothers

Mother's Day is here, and I realize more and more every day how blessed I am to still have mine. I have so many family, friends, acquaintances who have lost their mothers in the past few years, others within the past 10 or so years, and some who lost their moms early in life. I often think about them and what they're going through on this special day. I'd imagine that every day is difficult, but I'm sure Mother's Day is especially emotional.
I'm certain that the loss of a parent is something that will hurt forever. (Honestly, it makes me emotional just thinking about it.) There will be good days and bad days, but you will always feel the loss. There is an emptiness that will remain because a piece of you is missing. I can only compare it to my grandmother's passing, which was difficult enough.
Anyway, I just want my family, friends, associates to know that I'm thinking about them today, too. I'm sure you have many fond memories of your mothers and pray that those memories bring you much joy today and for the remainder of your days.
Happy Mother's Day to all of you who have the honor and blessing to be called, "Mom," I pray that you all have a lovely day as we celebrate, honor, cherish you today and always.
Sending you an abundance of love, hugs, and kisses!
